Working as a model has provided me with a unique perspective on understanding the image in the context of advertising. The experience taught me how each visual element, from pose and expression to wardrobe and lighting, is carefully chosen to communicate a specific message or connect emotionally with the viewer. In addition, I learned how to interpret and follow creative directions, which gave me a better understanding of the role of each person involved in the production of an advertising image and how teamwork is essential to achieve a cohesive and compelling vision.
